Earn $500 per sale, Blog traffic, A hard working man & Buying leads

Good day to all!

Today is actually jam packed with internet marketing related news. And, after reading about it all, and sifting through all the nonsense, here's what I believe is important to you today.

1) How would YOU like to make $500 per sale and get a FREE report?

Yesterday, I came in contact with a website owner who's about to launch a new product, that's already been highly endorsed by some of the biggest names in internet marketing. I personally have not looked at the product yet, but I did manage to get in good with the owner.

The package is called 'Torrential Traffic Tactics' and it's set to be released on January 7th, 2008. The price of the product is still undisclosed, but I was informed that affiliates and JV partners for this launch will receive $500 per sale! This is proving to be the first MAJOR high-ticket product release of 2008, and I'd like for you to be a part of it.

You will find me promoting this to my clients and those I consult with, as I believe that this would be a perfect educational experience for them. If you have a website, then you know that your site cannot survive without website traffic. And from the descriptions that I've been fed by other partners and from the site owner...this is not your run of the mill home study course. Every book you've read about making money online, and getting traffic to your website is going to look like trash compared to this.

If you visit Torrential Traffic Tactics (click the link) you'll receive an offer for a free video and a content-packed report that's sure to get you hyped about sucking in tons of website visitors. The video itself shows how the author pulled in $4.6 Million last year from the traffic they generated and teach about in their upcoming course.

And, if you wish to participate as an affiliate or JV partner, and make $500 per sale at launch time, just click the 'Affiliates' link at the bottom of the page, and sign up for free.

So, with this site, you get a powerful freebie, and an opportunity to make $500 per sale on this first high-ticket product launch of 2008.

2) Blogging With a New Twist

One of the easiest ways to make money online is to own and properly maintain a topic-related blog. Of course, you're always told that Blogger.com and Wordpress are the two most popular formats for accomplishing this. I personally own blogs with Blogger.com and Wordpress.

But, my good friend, Garrie Wilson has just released a guide all about how to properly set up, operate and maintain a profitable Wordpress blog.

Crazy enough, in the guide she laid some details on me about why she chose Wordpress over Blogger.com, and how it could effect your income severely. Like I said, I use both Blogger.com and Wordpress...and as a matter of fact, THIS blog is hosted on Blogger.com. But after reading this report, I'll be putting in tons more time with my Wordpress blogs...for reasons that are explained in this report.

It's a must-read, and a very affordable solution for anyone who's serious about blogging for profit. Crazy enough, some of the information in this guide is not even mentioned in the infamous 'Blogging to the Bank' by Rob Benwell. Seriously, I swear by Rob's book, and I still re-read it every now and then to refresh my memory. But Garrie really hits home with why she approaches blogs differently than Rob does.

Plus, Garrie offers a huge list of resources that are sure to bring TONS of traffic to your blog...no matter what topic your blog is about. Not only that, but she also provides you more than just a simple PDF to read. She even supplies you with a high-quality 'video edition' to her guide...so that you don't get bored and lose focus like you would with boring PDFs.

3) A Hard Working Man Tries to Break into the Game

Well, the other day, I was conversing with a new face online, named Nelson Minica. I had caught a whiff of his firesale that he's got going on, and if you know me, I had to check it out. I'm the firesale king! So I gotta scope out my competition.

Since I had heard about his firesale from a friend of mine, I visited his site not as a skeptic, but rather as a friend. I ended up getting a hold of him, and found out that he's just like you...an honest family man trying to provide for his family using the internet. Being armed with the knowledge of a thousand gurus, he decided to launch his very first firesale.

The theme is based around the new year...and his offer is supposed to be something that'll make your new year's resolutions get accomplished.

The cool thing is, he's literally offering hundreds of products that come with Master Resale Rights, so that you can do as you please with them (except plagiarize). I respect his hustle, as I know what it's like to try to break into the internet marketing industry and be successful. It took me two years before I saw my first taste of success online...so I'm fully aware of the struggle.

If you have a moment, give him a head nod, and visit his site:

4) Can Buying Leads and Mailing Lists Be a Good Thing?

I was asked this question by one of my subscribers, and my answer to him was YES and NO. The thing is, there are people online who purchase leads and mailing lists for the sole purpose of promoting things to them via email or direct mail. The problem is, there's a right way to do it, and a wrong way.

If you do it the wrong way, you can end up losing a ton of money, receive a ton of SPAM complaints, and even has your ISP (Internet Service Provider) strip you of all your online privileges, capabilities and services (plus, you'll get 'blacklisted' when you try to get service with someone else).

If you do it the right way, you can actually have other people pay for your leads and mailing lists, and you'll be able to profit big time. I know in one example, I knew someone who built a mailing list of thousands of people over the past year, by buying leads. The cool thing was, he used other people's money to buy these leads, and he never had to pay them back.

The idea amazed me, and it inspired me to start writing a nice, short report on the topic of what he did, and how he got other people to buy his leads, without having to pay them back.

I'm almost done with the report, and I'll be releasing it to the public next week or this weekend...depends on how I feel. But more than likely, this report will be more of a lead-in for my membership site, when it launches in late February/early March.

Of course, when I released the guide, I'll let a few people have it for free using 'digital coupons' like I did with my last firesale.

So, if you're not on my mailing list, then I recommend that you look at the top of this blog, sign up to get a free copy of my guide 'The $20 Miracle' and you'll be in the know when I release this cool report.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! haha

Cheap, Stupid Trick to Getting More Free Website Traffic

OK, here's a stupid little tip. Ever heard of Digg.com? Yeah, it's a social bookmarking website where people can submit their sites to it as 'news stories', and the community will decide which ones will get the popularity and most of the attention. It's a pretty cool site that I've been really experimenting with lately.

Well, I've been siphoning traffic from Digg the past week, and not by posting my websites and affiliate links as 'news stories'.

This is sooo easy...

First, find popular topics in your site's niche with at least 500 diggs. The more the better. I usually only mess with topics that have at least 1000 diggs, because I'm picky. haha You can easily find digg topics in your niche by using their search tool they have available.

Second, post a COMMENT to a digg and make sure you put your site's address as your 'signature'. Digg automatically converts your site address to a HTML link. Just make sure that your comment is truly genuine, and is relevant to the topic and your site.

Third, repeat #1 & 2 for about 20 topics in your niche on Digg.com. The more the merrier, of course.

THAT'S IT!

Digg comments can bring you so much traffic for nothing. I posted 3 comments on digg.com as a gag in niches I didn't have a site for.

And I still received 125 visitors to my blog, with 5 signups to my opt-in list. Any sales? Just two...but I didnt' have to invest anything into getting those two sales. No money was spent on the website since it's a free blogger.com blog.

So, for two sales totalling $50 on an affiliate product, that's not bad.

The thing is, a lot of people on Digg.com don't post comments. A good chunk do...but the fact is, they're not hip to posting a link in a comment for website promotion. Those on there who are, are raking in some serious traffic, especially if the site they're promoting is related to the topic.

Best bet, promote blogs using Digg.com comments.

And that's my stupid little trick for the day...ENJOY!

How to Get MORE Traffic to Your Website, EASILY

I wanted to give you a quick tip, that I've used to propel my
website to snagging more traffic for myself...and you don't need
any fancy expensive software to accomplish this.

The tip for the day is...

STUDY THE TRAFFIC THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY GETTING

Sound dumb? Well, it's not. I personally use Google Analytics to
track all of my sites' traffic. With it, I get to:

* see how many unique visitors I've received
* how many pages they surf on my site before leaving
* what sites people are coming from to get to my page
* what keywords people are using on Google to visit my page

When I study the keywords, I usually take the long-tail keywords
(the ones where someone is typing a question instead of a real term)
and create articles out of those keywords. I write the article and
tell people to visit my main site.

I might rewrite a few variations of the articles, based on the
keywords, and I might even 'spin' the article using my software,
into several different articles. This way, I'll be able to post a
different article on the SAME keyword to different article
directories. Plus, the backlinks I get are stupendous.

Without trying, I ended up getting close to 500 backlinks to one of
my sites, according to Yahoo! Search.

But the fact of the matter is...I'm studying the keywords, and
making articles from them to drive more PR and backlinks to my site.

By studying the referring sites that people are coming from to get
to my page, I visit those sites, and see if there's anything I can
do to revise the page (if possible) to get more traffic.

Sometimes I notice that I get traffic from forum posts I make. I do
advertise my blogs in my forum signatures wherever I go. So, if I'm
getting traffic from forum posts, I might change up my signature to
see if I'll get more traffic, or maybe even make more posts on that
particular forum, since people are visiting my site from there.

If it's from traffic exchanges, I might change up my squeeze page a
bit or alter my splash page if I have one set up.

If it's from online classifieds, then I go into my account and edit
the post. I know with Craigslist, you can go in and edit the posts
you make on there. And then I might 'spin' the ad to come up with a
totally new ad, and really flood the site.

See, you just have to think creatively and resourcefully.

Google Analytics is free to anyone in the world. Get it for your
site at: http://www.google.com/analytics

Honestly, it's probably the best thing I could've ever signed up for
since I've been online.

And now that you know one of the 'secrets' I was going to leave for
an ebook, now you can go out there and start pulling in more traffic
to your sites.

Comments are more than welcome...and leave your website URL
because it's an instant backlink lol

I'm gonna stock up on some Orange Juice and tea so I can shake this
cold. The Vicks Vaporub works, but not for long... :(
